Jay & Arlene Chan-Tubianosa

Owners

Jay has over 25 years of experience managing businesses and overseeing portfolios of assets. He has degrees from Bentley College and New York University’s Stern School of Business. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst CFA and a Professional Risk Manager PRM. Jay is also an avid historian and landscaper.

Arlene is our Accounts Manager and she has 20 years experience as an office manager for commercial and residential real estate rentals.  She was responsible for in-house accounting—paying bills and payroll, making bank deposits, recording invoices, and handling tax matters. She spent many years in cooperation with the NYC Department of Building and NYC Landmarks Preservation Commissions.

Jeff Lewis has been working and training directly with Jay for the last year. He enjoys the trust and responsibility required to be allowed into someones home. Jeff also played Division 1 College Tennis and runs the Rutgers Tennis Center at Hawaii Preparatory Academy.

Andre Lupian and Jeff have known each other from the tennis world since Jeff has been on the Big Island. “He’s impressed me with his character, attention to detail and work ethic and knew he would be very good at giving home owners the care they deserve” says Jeff. Andre, who has traveled the world playing tennis is from the Big Island and understands the unique challenges facing Hawaii home owners. In addition to being a highly qualified tennis teacher Andre is highly involved in the visual arts field around the Island working with major resorts and artists. Andre has gone through all steps required to be a part of the vacation House Check team including training with Jeff and Jay for the past 6 months and is ready to take the lead in making sure your home is well looked after.
